The Beretta 92F is a 9x19mm Parabellum model with a 15 rounds per magazine from the 92 series. It was introduced in 1972 and the production continues up to this day. The F in the title is for Federal, as this handgun was issued for law enforcers. The intent of the federal release hindered it from immediate civilian use, but the Beretta 92F gained it\s way into the shooting world. The appearance and whole design of the whole 92 series is the work of a professional team at the Beretta: Carlo Beretta, Giuseppe Mazzetti and Vittorio Valle, all experienced firearms designers on the Beretta design team. That is the reason why this series gained that much attention and popularity.
